gPad ? coming shortly after the ipad to a library near you

Maybe you already know about this but Google, as always, is determined to either lead the way or provide viable more cost effective technologies. As I was driving to work this morning they reported on the radio that Google is about to release ‘Google Chrome Tablet’ to compete with the iPad. Apparently it will be heavily subsidised so it will be within the reach of more consumers. The UK telegraph has more info.
I am getting used to the idea that anything I buy today will automatically be superseded within six months..............
