Meeting Room Costs

Library meeting rooms have a standard price per hour or part thereof $18.50.
Would all staff please inform customers that this is the price?
Should you find out (after taking further details) that the booking is for a not for profit organisation then offer them the $6.20 rate.
There is concern that some people are paying the wrong rate. It is a grey area, I know.
A person who books it for a counseling session with a client, could be running their own business and so should be paying the full rate.
A person who books it for a counseling session with a client, could be doing it on behalf of the local Community groups and so should be charged the lesser rate!
Often bookings are made on a continuing basis and so whatever price they are quoted that first time, is what they are expecting to pay on each subsequent visit.
Please remember we are not a charity, and although in every other instance we are trying to help the customer and reduce their costs, in this instance we require 'backbones' (mine is just stiffening up now after 20 something years!) stand our ground if customers complain of the cost. That is what it is. They have the choice of going elsewhere if they so desire.
