Ukulele Performance
The St
George and Sutherland Shire Community of Ukulele Musicians (SSCUM!) performed
such classics as Don’t Worry, be Happy; Eight Days a Week; You are my Sunshine
and Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. It was a small but enthusiastic group, but very much
enjoyed by an appreciative audience – at least half of whom were blokes! Many
of the guys went up and spoke to the performers afterwards to chat about their
craft and the club.
2014 marks
the tenth anniversary of their organisation, so the musicians were also very
happy to have had the opportunity to perform for the public, and expressed an
interest in a repeat performance some time down the track.
