The Well Read Cookie

Those of you who work on weekends will know our casual, Lauren, who often shares tasty baked goodies with her colleagues . A little while ago, she brought in some themed literary cookies, which she had made to accompany her new blog. The cookies looked and tasted delightful! They were so good, I thought I'd share them with you all. Here's what Lauren has to say...

 The Well Read Cookie is a blog which combines a love of reading with a love of baking. Every fortnight, new cookies are featured based on the books I have read lately! The blog has had over three thousand views since it launched in June, and recent posts feature cookies inspired by Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and gramophone cookies inspired by Kimberley Freeman's Evergreen Falls.
