The customer-focused library

This title on the new books trolley caught my eye during the week Collection Services, Ref and Kids began a merger as part of the library restructure.
The customer-focused library : re-inventing the library from the outside-in / Joseph R. Matthews
It is thin (90 pages) and talks about U.S Public Libraries but has plenty of easy and plenty more challenging ideas for change which could be useful for us. In fact it echoes just what management is asking us to do, maybe they've read this book?
There is probably nothing surprising in here for recent library studies graduates but for those of us who have been away from formal study for a while it is very handy.

The public libraries all over the world has been undergoing a big "cultural" revolution since the emergency of internet.
