Libraries Building Communities

The State Library of Victoria has produced some very interesting looking research into the value that public libraries bring to their communities. A couple of parts looked particularly interesting to me. There is some research into who uses libraries and who doesn't, which might inform us as to where we need to put our marketing efforts in order to grow the number of library users. Also, examples of best practices in Victorian public libraries could be very interesting. I haven't had a good read yet but there looks to be some very interesting stuff.
