Auburn Library has started up a Flickr group to promote NSW Readers Week 2008. The idea is that you use the Motivator tool over at fd's flickr toys to create a poster that expresses how you feel about reading.

Then upload the photo to the flickr group and share your wisdom. Here's my pathetic attempt - I'm sure you can all do better. If you created a Flickr account as part of Learning 2.0 then you can use that to store the image, otherwise put it in the Library's Flickr account (ID:suthlib pw:route66).

There's more instructions on the Group page at Flickr. Someone might even like to take this idea to our library readers and try to get them involved.

I hope you have a go. I think it's great that NSW public libraries are starting to think about how they can use new tools such as flickr to reach out to users. More about how Sutherland can use Flickr coming soon...
